Rent adjustments: IPC and fixed increases
Apply an annual rent increase to a long-term lease — labeled as IPC or a fixed amount/percentage that you enter yourself.
Applying an adjustment
For a long-term rental, you can apply a rent adjustment as a percentage or a fixed amount, on the lease's anniversary or whichever date your contract specifies. "IPC" here is a label for the reason, not a live data feed — Keyio doesn't look up the official INE/IPC rate for you, so you type in whatever percentage you've determined applies (from the IPC index or otherwise). Once applied, the new rent amount is what the payment ledger uses going forward — past months are not recalculated.
Look up the correct official IPC percentage yourself (e.g. from the INE) before applying it — Keyio doesn't fetch, verify, or check the rate against your signed contract, it just applies whatever number you enter.
