Creating and editing properties (manual and AI-assisted)
Two ways to add a property to your portfolio, and how to keep its details up to date.
Manual entry vs. AI-assisted entry
Manual entry gives you a blank form: address, reference, surface area, number of rooms, cadastral reference, and tax regime. AI-assisted entry lets you paste text (a listing, a deed excerpt) or upload a document, and Keyio extracts and pre-fills the same fields for you to review — nothing is saved until you confirm it.
Editing later
Every field you set on creation can be changed later from the property's settings page. Changing the tax regime after you already have expenses or assets recorded doesn't retroactively change past reports — it only affects deductions calculated going forward, so double-check it before your first fiscal report.
Deleting a property is permanent and removes its rentals, expenses, and documents. Keyio will ask you to confirm — there is no recovery after that.
