Lease renewals: how auto-applied renewal terms work

What happens after signing
When you start a renewal from the rental overview, Keyio generates a renewal document carrying the updated lease terms (new end date, and any rent adjustment you set). Once that document is signed by everyone required, Keyio automatically updates the rental's active terms to match — you don't need to manually re-edit the lease dates or rent amount afterward; signing the renewal is what applies it.
Because signing the renewal changes the rental's live terms, double-check the pre-filled dates and rent amount on the renewal document before sending it — there's no separate confirmation step once it's signed.
