Where this applies
Keyio automatically calculates tourist tax for short-term rentals in Catalonia (IEET) and the Balearic Islands (ITS) — the two regions currently supported. For a qualifying stay, Keyio uses the rental's dates, guest count, and the region's current rates (including any long-stay discounts or per-stay caps) to compute the amount, which appears on the rental's guest/booking record.
Keyio calculates the amount you owe — it doesn't file or remit the tax to the regional authority on your own behalf; check the relevant guide below for how each region expects it to be paid.
