Enabling the Guest Portal for a property
A property-level opt-in that lets you generate a check-in link for each short-term booking.
Turning it on
The Guest Portal is a short-term-rental feature, turned on per property from the property's edit modal, in the Guest Portal step. It's off by default. Once enabled, you can choose whether portals generate automatically ahead of each check-in, or only when you manually click "Generate portal" from a booking.
Generating the link for a booking
From a short-term rental's Overview tab, the Guest Portal panel shows a "Generate portal" button once the property-level setting is on. Generating creates a unique link and a 4-digit access PIN for that booking. Send the link (with the PIN already included in the message) using the built-in "Send" action, or copy it and share it yourself.
The link stays active from generation through checkout, plus one extra day — after that it closes automatically. You can also close it manually at any time, or reopen a closed one.
