Organizations: work as a team
Give people access to your whole account or to some properties, with a role each, and work in several organizations with one sign-in.
Your account is your organization
Every Keyio account is an organization: its properties, its plan and its data. You can give other people access to it from Settings › Organization › Give access: choose the whole organization (the properties you have today and the ones you add later) or only some properties, and a role. Adding people costs nothing — the price is still per property.
- 1Go to Settings › Organization and click Give access.
- 2Enter their email, choose the whole organization or some properties, and pick a role.
- 3They get an invitation by email. Their access starts once they accept it.
Roles
Admin: everything, including giving and removing access, archiving and deleting properties. Editor: works like you do — rentals, expenses, invoices, guest registration. Viewer: sees everything, changes nothing. Calendar: only the bookings on the calendar, for cleaning staff or co-hosts.
Two extra permissions: an editor of the whole organization can be allowed to create properties (each one counts towards your plan), and an admin can be allowed to manage the payment (card, Keyio invoices, plan). Only you, as the founder, can grant the payment one.
Working in several organizations
If someone gives you access to their organization, you will see an Organization section in your account menu: pick one and everything you see, create and is billed belongs to that organization — its properties, its plan, its invoices. The calendar can also show all of them at once. Alerts from the other organizations still reach your bell, marked with their name.
Settings › Organization lists every organization you belong to, with your role. You can switch from there, or leave one you no longer work with.
Who did what
Settings › Organization › Activity shows who created, changed or deleted what, and when, filtered by person or property. It records which fields changed, never their content, and is kept for 12 months. Bank account numbers and ID numbers appear masked to the people you give access to; showing or copying one is recorded too.
Another organization is another account, with its own plan and payment. To run two, sign up with another email and give your usual email admin access from it: you will see both with one sign-in.
