Rent receipts for your tenant
A PDF receipt for every rent payment you record on a long-term lease, to download or email to the tenant in your name.
What the receipt says
Who paid (the tenants on the lease, with their ID number when you have it), who received it (the owners on the property sheet, with their tax ID), how much, for which month and home, the date and the payment method. A part payment says what is still owed for that month. Each payment has its own number (year-month-lease-payment).
It is a receipt, not an invoice: if you invoice your rent, the invoice is issued separately from Invoicing.
- 1Record the payment in the lease's Payments tab. Keyio then offers to send the receipt to the tenant (or to download it, if the lease has no tenant email).
- 2For any month already paid, use "Receipt" on its row; with several payments in a month, open the row and use the icons of each payment.
- 3The email goes out in your name and replies come to you.
